Trans thoughts

I’ve been listening to a lot of opinions on trans issues lately. I have a few trans friends, and never even considered it problematic. But to some extent I find today’s “narrative” a little bit troublesome, as non-controversial opinions are suddenly considered highly controversial. Like in the case with JK Rowling. I don’t understand how wanting to protect women os considered trans hate. In a way, if you take it far enough, isn’t being trans the ultimate patriarchal check mate, if one is desiring to excerpt their power onto women? It is easy today, to use a “trans cloak” to get access to spaces where women feel confident that they will only interact with other women. Someone who is really transgender is not likely to be a threat to other women. But men who want to prey on women can use (and abuse) transgenderism only to be able to find victims. That is quite sad, and dangerous if we can’t have an open debate. I’m all for people doing whatever they want with regards to gender and everything else, but I do think that there are also limits, and certain boundaries and agreements we must come to, now when the debate is open. Don’t we all just want to be safe? No need to hate anyone. But no one should side with criminals.
