Resistance

Almost every night now, I have the same intention, then something happens, and my intention is lost.

I am quite tired almost all the time just now, long for rest and sleep, but as soon as it is time to go to bed, or end the day, it is as if I get caught in a glitch. Between 23:00 and 02:00, I’m not sure what I’m doing, but I am certainly not falling asleep.

It is annoying to be aware and wanting it to change, and feeling as if I am powerless to do so. I know I’m not, but I haven’t yet found an efficient strategy to change course. It makes me feel like I’m constantly failing (not good). At the moment I think that perhaps the best strategy could be to just stop stimuli from screens at around 8pm, so no projector, computer or phone. But…. I usually do my best work after 8pm. So how does one find a good balance?
