The Flow

Unusual encounters

I started writing a post about unusual encounters, and then the page reloaded and uggh. I didn’t feel like writing anything before, then I did and lost it. Should I really put in the effort again? After all I’m doing this writing habit just for myself, no one is probably going to see this. So does it really matter?

I was describing how when I do classes in the gym, my own experience doesn’t always align with the participants. In the good way - I might feel that the class isn’t top notch, but the feedback is amazing. Sometimes, I’m a bit hard on myself.

As I was leaving the gym, I started talking to a new member (visiting). We had a most interesting conversation, philosophical and deep, touching on important topics like faith, meaning and how to create positive impact on other humans. It is not easy, but things worth doing aren’t always easy. Or comfortable.

One of the things that I appreciated most with the conversation was the opportunity to share the story of Massive. How it came to be, and why it is so important to me. It’s funny, because it is so obvious to me, I forget to share it with the world. Hopefully, this will change, and I’ll share my message more freely and frequently. I’ve come to realize that facilitating change in other humans is one of the most meaningful things I could ever do.
